When the profilic Sydneysiders began work on their debut album, they produced so much material that it warranted an entire album's worth of material.
Hence, 'Non Practising Pagans' the B-sides collection was born.
This is not a self-indulgent exercise. The tracks here showcase a different side of the Captain, delving into the ambient, experimental and even soothing.
It is still a quintessential Captain Kickarse release - namely, it sounds different to anything they've done before.
With material this good left off the album proper, their full-length studio debut promises to be superb...
